The worst thing for a comedian to have to do is to explain his/her joke.

I caught a snippet of this on a reaction video and I had to look for this video to comment how horrible this interviewer is. First of all, how can an interviewer tell her guest to “let me finish” and yet constantly talks over him as he answers? She just wants to hear herself speak - so then quit interviewing people and just give monologues. Oh yeah, to give monologues you actually need people to want to listen to you - which you can’t if you have zero charm and is rude to boot. 😂

Does she not think that there could be things SHE'S said that someone could take completely out of context and twist into "reinforcing prejudices?" or whatever else thing? Making people take responsibility for lies and manipulative actions of others is inherently wrong.

I have never believed in Zeinab Badawi even if she hailed from my country (before separation). She has never identified with us just because she went to the UK and thinks she is somebody. She is essentially racist in her views. Her interviews have always been less informative, demeaning, prejudiced and looking for problems where they are not there. I am just happy Trevor kept his cool and made her scratch her head. And that was a joy to see.

There is a difference These are differences that can be celebrated or used to separate people. Noting differences, does not implicitly make it a bad thing. When you are noticing differences you can note them for a good reason. (Like noticing different colours or different flowers) It can be a good thing if you're using it to celebrate. Not Separate.

I've never been a crazy fan of Trevor Noah but the way he kept his composure during this enotionally charged, racist *attack* is admirable, and my respect for him has gone up. Well done you. Keep it classy. Interviewer deserves to be reprimanded at the very least. So much for the press being unbiased.

It is very unprofessional how she keeps on interrupting and switching the subject when he absolutely made his point. Everything is about context. And taking somebody's feelings/regrets and try to force them on somebody else just because of....what exactly 🤔...oh, the similar skin colour???
